Install Prolog
Since Prolog is an interpreted language, you must install a Prolog interpreter on your computer in order to run any Prolog code.
I suggest downloading SWI-Prolog.

Download one of the Binaries. Use the first download link if you have 32-bit Windows, otherwise use the second link for 64-bit Windows (if you are unsure, 32-bit will work).
For Mac, choose the link that matches your operating system version.

Once the download is complete, run the binary to install SWI-Prolog.
Here on the first screen, simply accept the license.

A Typical installation is what we want. So you shouldn't have to change anything here either, just click next.
Install the software somewhere convenient. A folder in Program Files is just perfect for me.
Click next.

I would leave this page as is. We want our Prolog files to end in .pl, so leave the Extension as pl. You could change the Startmenu group if you want.
Click next.

Now wait for the interpreter to install.
Yay! Installation complete!
