Requirement:
Design a new game. Any game medium or combination of mediums is acceptable. Record your work in a game design notebook.
a. Write a vision statement for your game. Identify the medium, player format, objectives, and theme of the game. If suitable, describe the setting, story, and characters.
b. Describe the play value.
c. Make a preliminary list of the rules of the game. Define the resources.
d. Draw the game elements.

Remember, this first set of ideas for your game is just a prototype. It shouldn't be perfect or overly complex. We'll have many chances to improve and refine your ideas over the next months.
Only, please remember we'll be playing these games at Troop meetings. So don't design a game that can't be played at a meeting as this will just cause more work for you! Also, the game has to be safe and adhere to BSA safety standards.

- Medium(s): cards, dice, board, balls, etc?
- Player format: solo, multiplayer, teams?
- Objectives: world domination, get all the cards, score the most points, etc?
- Theme (if any): sci-fi, fantasy, western, etc?

- Play value (why do I want to play your game?): sandbox, competitive vs cooperative, challenge?

- List the basic rules of your game (start simple, we're have plenty of chances to improve and tweak your game)
- Define the resources (things players use and gain in game): armies, cards in hand, points, life, etc?

- Draw game elements
* special playing space (game board, field, table, etc)?
* special pieces or objects (pawns, tokens, cards, etc)?
